Beschreibung

The design of these earrings is derived from a pair of small or large earrings discovered in a late Roman-Byzantine tomb of an infant and an adult female. The originals, found at the site of Tel Jemmeh in the Northwest Negev, Israel, are now part of the collections in the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution.
