Mother and Daughter Hoop Earrings Set

The design of these earrings is derived from a pair of small earrings discovered with a larger pair in a late Roman-Byzantine tomb of an infant and an adult female. The originals, found a the site of Tel Jemmeh in the Northwest Negev in Israel, are now part of the collections in the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution.
